Here is a good website, that all people stock piling should have bookmarked: [ link to www.stilltasty.com] The shelf life of most everything you could imagine. It's great, seriously....I just roll my eyes when I read about people tossing out perfectly GOOD FOOD, due to a date printed on the package! How wasteful!
