Reason such a large set of numbers is used? cannot ever be a fluke / accidental triggering like there has been in the past with mere phrases.

~ Did you guys know that the DAY that the whole DC thing broke, I was walking to work past 14th street in NYC, the Stuyvesant Apartment complex, and there was a TON of cops, and people running around, some milling around, looking up. THERE WAS A FRIKKIN' SNIPER shooting at people from one of the upper windows! Rumors were rampant, 'blah blah blah the cops had him cornered, he was in his underwear and ranting and raving, he was a crazy vet, etc. etc. etc.'

~ Does anybody remember this? NO? You know why? I get to work about 30 minutes later, and someone says to me 'OMG! Did you hear about the sniper shooting people???' and I said 'Yeah, I just walked through that area'... they looked at me like I was crazy and they said 'No, in Washington'. And I was like "WTF?!?" The thing in NYC was _TOTALLY_ forgotten. And I'm telling you, a guy shooting at people on 14th street with a rifle out of his window is, despite what people see in the movies, NOT something that happens every day in NYC.

~ SERIOUSLY. I'm trying to google it 'DC sniper timeline' so that I can get the date and then google the NYC thing if possible, but EVERY link from the google I click on says 'Oooops! This link appears to be broken'... WTF?!?!? Everything from NY Times to BBC.
