In his series of semi-regular columns for a defense analysis column [link to www.sldinfo.com], Wheeler made a reasoned case for military protection of civilian cyber assets. Currently CYBERCOM operates under Title 50 USC (Intelligence), and Wheeler advocated that it be placed under Title 10 USC (Military) instead. As a lawyer, he would perhaps have had some special appreciation of this.
