Paper money will soon die.
It is only a matter of time.

Legislators in at least ten states have introduced bills in the past few years to allow state commerce to be conducted with gold and silver.

Each highlighted state is a link to the introduced legislation.

It would be worthwhile to save a copy of each legislation to analyze in order
to get a feel as to how people are thinking about this subject.

It is fully supported by the u.s. constitution.

Article 1.
Section. 10.

No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.

Notice how it is ONLY the States that are allowed to make gold and silver coin.
So I guess people are finally waking up.

Only by way of gold and silver will you have true wealth.
Unless of course for some strange reason to love to be in debt.

Re: Paper money will soon die.
paper, gold and silver has absolutly no value at all. it is just the means to trade by. It is only worth what we label it each day. Islanders used shells, some used round rocks.... it is all th same and all worhtless until a group of people decide that something would be nice to use to trade..... so you do not get stuck with too many pigs and not enough veggies!

It'll never happen. It's gonna be a digital credit system instead.

I agree, but I think it will all be digital, that way all transactions are on record.

Gold & Silver will be for off the books trading.

The point is that when the paper dies you have to have something to replace it with.
Some of the states are working on that replacement.
