URGENT QUESTION!***Safest places during poleshift/earth crustal displacement?!? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 919411 United States 01/12/2011 10:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well... I have to let everyone know... I'm originally from Misouri and I believe one of the best places is actually central Missouri in the Ozarks because underneath that beautiful countryside are massive underground limestone caverns and caves which can also shield oneself from solar flares... just a thought and I do know that the government also has stockpiles and bunkers as well hidden away... Quoting: TheJuiceisLooseOZARKS are my choice. It is gods country Ozarks are good, but just realize that when all is said and done you'll be on an island. Quoting: FrankensteinOh yes, the movie 'IMPACT' details one of these bunkers and it is for real folks... I had a relative who was way up in the Military over at Ft. Leonard Wood... Just a side note...someone told me that Missouri is the most strict of the states when it comes to illegals. They do not give them free handouts. hmmmmmm........ perhaps safty from flares but me thinks the caverns and deep under ground bunkers will bcome tombs for the elite or others when the plates move Not if they're reinforced to withstand potential seismic activity... do you really think the government would not have them prepared quakeproof.... No, I'm staying in the Ozarks, no question about it... I'll take my chances... |

Just curious how the thought processes work for people like you who really believe such stuff. According to paleomagnetists, the Earth periodically -- every few hundred thousand years -- flips its magnetic field (i.e. the north and south magnetic poles are reversed). Evidence for this peculiar habit is provided by measurements of the orientation of magnetic materials in sedimentary and volcanic rocks, and the fact that such orientations have been grouped into distinct periods over the last 178 million years. Based on this evidence, the most recent magnetic pole reversal appears to have occurred some 730,000 years ago, leaving the north and south magnetic poles at 75 degrees North, 102 degrees West, and 67 degrees South and 140 degrees East, respectively. Work by Allan Cox [1] has shown extreme variability in when and where such an event occurs – ranging from a 35 million year hiatus in the Cretaceous Period, to more recent variations of several hundred thousand years between events. Of course, this means that based on the relatively recent past, we're way overdue! [link to www.halexandria.org] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1165172 United States 01/13/2011 01:09 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Trench shelter design and trailer idea for people who don't have alot of time or money and want to survive while the roads are still good. You could rent a Uhaul trailer (make sure the metal panels and 4x4's fit) or buy one and load these trench shelter supplies in along with whatever food and gear you have.(you may be camping awhile) If your vehicle can handle strapping the 4x4's and metal sheets on top with racks then you could buy or rent a smaller trailer (easier to berm and smaller target for wind and debris) Drive to a safer location (reference ZT safe locations) and find a sloping sight where you can dig easy enough (remember the ground freezes in some locations) Use the dirt from the trench to fill the sand bags. You could brush roofing adhesive between the overlaps of the metal sheeting and nail the metal sheets to the 4x4's if you want but I'm figuring nails could injure if things got rough and this design I think would allow you to get out afterwards even if it collapses some. You could also dig a shallow trench to back the trailer in and sand bag the perimeter in hopes of your stuff surviving. Before loading your trailer duct tape a large tarp on the inside half way up the walls in case the hole floods. The size of the trench can be longer just buy more materials. I welcome any feedback or potential flaws I haven't thought of. Just trying to get some ideas out there for people who maybe feel hopeless. All you need is: shovel 2'x10' corregated metal panels 4"x4" use 8' or 10' depending on how wide you want. Space them about 2 feet. sandbags |

People spend so much time and money on health trying to prolong the inevitable. It's funny how a 70 year old man is building a bunker in order to try to squeeze a few more years into his lifespan. Enjoy the day with each sunrise. Stop spending your entire life (which will end in death anyway) worrying about staying alive. Life is already short. Stop trying to live forever. It won't happen. I would rather die, which is natural to life than suffer through the famine, disease, and chaos that will surely result in the event of a catastrophic event. Put me at ground zero please! |

Dirt Diver User ID: 1467795 Belgium 07/14/2011 04:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well op, considering where you live, i would make a sturdy floating device with compartments and at least a double hull in some places. I would make it out of metal get some diving bottles in there to create overpressure(a little) anchor it to the ground, bury it with not too much soil ontop... you dont want to get cought in the initial wave, once theres water over your head, you want to float away if the land starts to slide, i would not want to be in a big concrete structure buried in several layers. You have to make a few of these(modified containers if you will) for several groups of people, making them not too big. i am not going to be all about this, either you see it as a possibility, or you do not. It is as simple as that. improvise and adapt, Please, i would love to hear some of the more practical approaches too this errrr problem. I mean, theres no harm done, if you build one of these, it is clearly not going to break any bottles, even if there is no ULTIMATE MEGA DEATH DOOM by, lets say, end of july?(No uncle involved) Leave the nonsense out, and talk practical for once edit: i do not live in fear i have a kitty, chickens and life is beautiful, i love also the ones i hate. Anonymous Coward User ID: 27873276 United States 11/16/2012 07:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We moved to the western slope of Colorado about 2 years ago. We are at over 7,000 ft. above sea level just to be on the safe side. We also have a deep canyon within walking (or running!) distance if winds pick up after a/the supposed pole sift. Now I know I will get a lot of flack for saying this but based on Hopi prophesies the four corners (Arizona Mexico Colorado Utah)are supposed to be a stable place. Do I know for sure? No. I have had some very interesting dreams bout the coming earth changes so I tend to follow my own intuitive inclinations and stay current with as much info that is out there as possible. There is lots of crap and you have to filter out what is right or wrong for you. DO I know there will be a pole shift? I am inclined to think so but really have no proof. Do your own research and come to your own conclusions about this. Don't do anything rash based on fear. Think things through. You will be glad for it in the end. |
