If it happened today, it would be classed as an abduction. Close Encounter of the 4th kind. Both the birth and the death are very suspicious given a rational scientific explanation. If I was Joseph, I'd feel a bit cheated upon. Your wife states that she a virgin, but she is pregnant, and this was told to her by an 'angel'.
