With all the doom and the potential for even worse, have you changed your priorities or life in any way?

I have learned the freedom of indifference, because giving a shit didn't make it all get better.
I'm just learning to appreciate all the beauty and peace that are right in front of my eyes and letting the rest flow by like a river.

i've stopped caring about what is good for my long term health. I'd given up dairy produce, but seeing as the clock is nearing midnight, I'm thinking what the fuck? dairy is so nice.

lol

live for today, tomorrow it might all be over.

It is a stronger feeling each day my friend, and it almost seems like nothing can be done to stop it.....Inception is the worst thing man could create. We all cant figure things out anymore cuz were all going to a fork in the road that is leading us off the path of the real events that are suposed to be looked at....

Goodbye, halcyon days...

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened.

Three minute rule now applies too, if it drops on the floor.

(used to be 5-second rule)

Don't get depressed about all the negativity. Learn to recognize it and pass it in one ear and out the other or one eye and out the other eye. No Need to React unless you really have to and recognize that you can react if you need to and relax, perhaps some of the things you thought were important don't seem so important anymore, so get on with life and really see if others are doing that or if they are going downhill somehow and you need not follow, but be ready and avoid trying to change them but look for others who are better for supporting your ideas whether making any money or not.

I am having a hard time staying focused on my job.

But I am telling people about the coming food crisis -- now that there are MSM articles I can point them to and that makes me feel a little better.

And I try to tell myself that I can't just stop 'living' life either... that's not good for me OR for my family. Wish my husband took me a little more seriously though. At least he doesn't think I am a complete crackpot :-P

Dropping things on the floor is WHY I have pets. The food gets eaten, the other stuff gets knocked behind the couch.

You're right, OP. We're on the edge of the cliff...and it's crumbling already.

Wyoming bill would make it illegal to enforce Obamacare

Ethan A. Huff
Natural News
Jan 13, 2011

Legislation recently introduced in Wyoming would make it a federal crime for government officials and those who work with the government to enforce any provisions in the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act,” also widely known as “Obamacare”. If passed, those who attempt to enforce the health care overhaul’s provisions would be subject to fines and imprisonment.

“The Health Care Choice and Protection Act,” as it is officially called, states that “[a]ny official, agent or employee of theUnited Statesgovernment or any employee of a corporation providing services to the United Statesgovernmentthat enforces or attempts to enforce an act, order, law, statute, rule or regulation of the government of the United States in violation of this article shall be guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than five (5) years, a fine of not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000.00), or both.

Yes.

I'm taking it day by day, not giving a fuck, but caring only for my immediate family members.

I'm probably going to spend my fathers inherited fortune on hookers and slutty girls because i hate love and i fail at seduction.

I was jaded for awhile. But once I accepted the impending doom, I grew closer to God...which was the best thing.

I have no desire to acquire any more material "stuff".

Not really concerned with any big "nest egg" of retirement that I will surely lose.

It's just now trying to wake-up my loved ones in the most gentle way as possible without making them feel hopeless....which is hard with elderly parents and siblings with young kid's. It's hard.

Re: Does anyone feel like a lot of things just don't matter any more?
I'm 63, a little overweight, but I eat what I wanna, in a nice balance. Lots of peppers, garlic, onions and so on to keep my blood nice and thin. Drink strong black tea with honey, never nasty coffee. (Yep, I know, my opinion, not true for everyone). Refuse to go into Starbuck's, but love Whole Foods, which started about two miles from my house here in Austin.

I know TOO MANY vegetarians out there who are anemic, dying of cancer and heart disease. They're afraid of wheat, peanuts, kittens, gosh, the list just goes on and on. They're allergic to almost everything! So sorry for them; what they lack is freedom to choose what they really need. Many of them would rather eat merde than meat.

But a lot of things matter: being honest, being nice, being helpful, being healthy, etc. The list goes on. Lots of things still matter, that's my point.
