When you take a drink, you are often putting a drinking receptacle in front of your eyes, blocking your vision momentarily. Therefore, your weakest and most expendable finger automatically sticks out to detect any danger lurking around your face while your vision is blocked. You feel safer and less vulnerable with your finger sticking out while taking a drink. |

And I need all I can get. Don't ask me what time it is when I'm drinking; I will look at my watch, and -lookout. |

Don't ever recall dropping a glass as a kid. Taught my kid the same thing. He'll knock a glass over at the dinner table in a heartbeat, but never dropped one. (works for beer bottles too.) Try it with your little ones! |
