Quoting: mathetesYou do realise that the position of the sunrise changes through out the year don't you? AHHH! Shill! Everyone knows we're in an ice age and this Summer I predict global warming I see and what does that have to do with the position of stars in the sky? just go along with the joke ya dork lol Satire seems to escape her Sadly dear there are people here who believe things just like that. Even simple astronomy facts I learned in grade school excape them. How Can You Be Two Places At Once When You're Not Anywhere at all |

Imagine using the horizontal flip feature on an image in Photoshop (best way to explain it). I have NEVER seen it like this. WTF... will be looking out for more info. on this. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1220210 United States 01/13/2011 11:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was just about to log on and post this exact same thing! Here goes -- The other night when everyone was talking about their compasses being all wonky, I went out to look at the stars. I stood in my driveway and peered up at Orion. It was between 10:30 and 10:45 pm. My driveway was poured as four separate slabs so I made sure to stand in the upper left quadrant, right next to the 'axis'. Orion was STRAIGHT ABOVE me -- I had to lean my head all the way back to look at it. Tonight I went out to look at Orion again as I have several nights over the past few weeks. Tonight I looked up and it is about 25 or 30 degrees 'closer' to the horizon, same direction, but not as high up. I didn't have to 'crane' my neck in otherwords. I love looking at the stars but I am not an expert - not even close. Two nights ago it was still straight up. Is this change normal? |

Experts say the summer sun should have risen over the Archtic nation's most westerly town, Ilulissat, today. But for the first time in history they say it began creeping over the horizon at around 1pm last Tuesday. Read more: [link to www.dailymail.co.uk] |

Don't ask me about it, i don't know, i just think collective consciousness may be leaking into the conscious states. |
