OP, we are very, very similar.

When you go back to your mom's take this book with you- Right Use of Will. It is *not* just some self help, new agey book (was published in the 80's, an undiscovered treasure). It is healing, just by reading, and it's so intense that I can't even explain it. I don't recommend books flippantly, especially this one.
