I've been on three-quarters of those and still think freely. Some are more prone than others to losing touch with reality and have their mind controlled.

My understanding is that antidepressants induce psychosis as a 'side effect' in about 10% of users.

On discovery, instead of the doctor saying 'Oh my God, what horrible side effects has my prescribed drug induced', they will say 'let us add an anti-psychotic to your mix on top, you are really ill.'

Yes that's why so many depressed people end up being labelled bipolar after a while on anti depressants.

I take a VERY low dose of Zoloft for ADD and it works great. If you mix it with other stuff, or don't take as directed, then you can get effed up, but seriously without this stuff I cannot pay attention.

My first question when kids starting shooting up schools was: "Were they on psychiatric medications?" It's NEVER been addressed in MSM. I figured it was because of big pharma's influence and money. This is a link to an article about whether or not psych drugs cause mental illness. Once upon a time, there were alternative treatments to drug therapy. Once upon a time, we weren't bombarded with things to unbalance us. I feel terrible for those hooked on these drugs. But usually, they're pretty happy campers who 'need' the drug. They don't know how limiting the chemicals are on their consciousness...it's like there's no one home....

Note that it is always those who don't need to take psychotropic drugs that say these drugs cause mental illness. ANY drug has side effects and subject to individual physiological response. All doctors are taught this in second year medicine at university. Those who have mental illness will tell you that their lives are a total MISERY WITHOUT MEDICATION. I didn't start living until I started taking Avanza. My life was totally fucked with anxiety and depression and I was given the chance to start again. Which I have with relish so please don't go telling people what they should and should not take. Let them decide themselves after they have tried medication. Most people continue with it as it helps them be human again...

It's a muscle relaxant that has been on the market for many decades, unlike the other meds you mentioned work totally differently and the pharmacology is completely different. People that are into heavier things, like these new anti-depressants, mix Valium in as part of their cocktail. Sudafed wasn't bad either, until it started to be a key component in meth labs. Every ingredient in a cocktail is not bad when taken alone.

You want to take that one step farther, look at the sex industry, the porn we see on TV, and society's obsession with sex. Look at the increase in rapes and child abductions. All these men running around on Viagra or their "Low T" meds - basically running round with erections much of the time. How safe can that make society for women and children?
