Excuse me, ever hear of the civil rights movement?

The Baby Boomer Generation is responsible for that mess, and due to that women, blacks, disabled people and a whole slew of other 'minorities' have true equality.

When we were in our late teens and 20's we paid our way, we rioted on the streets, went toe to toe with ARMED police. We sat in on DC and did a lot of other things.

We are also the generation that picketed Nuclear Power Plants and insisted they shut down or be safe.

We also:

1. Changed lumber industry so they didn't just cut down trees, but also plant trees to replace those cut down.

2. Started recycling, pushing recycling through and making it law in many places.

3. Shut down many - MANY - factories and laboratories that were pumping toxic wastes into the environment.

4. Over turned the Draft so YOU would not be DRAFTED into a war.

If it wasn't for our protests and fighting back you would not have clean drinking water today, nor live in a chemical friendly home. YOU would have been raised with asbestos, lead and various other toxins that we as kids lived with.

We did a lot of good in our time.

So when are you going to get off your lazy ass and start making some real changes?
