He knows how to light a fire, and has the equipment to do it. He carries a steel canteen cup. He keeps eating bugs and little animals and complaining about the taste, and that they crap in his mouth. But why?? He COULD light a fire, and cook the bugs and critters in his steel cup!!! Apparently, the big grubs he eats are considered a 'bush delicacy' if cooked. So why doesn't he cook them!?!??
