More motives behind this, intimidating Congress, Loughner surely wouldn't have that on any list of motives. This is one of the earliest stories, and mentioned the "failed spring". Apparently the gun Salzgeber was waving around was fully loaded, but inoperable. How strange. And if he had a fully loaded magazine in the gun, how and why was he still holding on to the empty magazine? Zamudio is one of the only participants in this event who consistently describes the shooter's motivation, competence, preparation and mindset. How does he have such insight?

When the media focuses on an event like this it is to traumatize people. The details have been dribbed and drabbed out through the media, with inflammatory language and sensationalist headlines, evoking everyone's worst nightmares about crazy people with guns and the damage they can do. The many references to videos of this shooting further inflame imaginations as people picture grainy security video perhaps with sinister sounding music and freeze frames complete with zoom and graphics circling the gun in the hand, the black hood covering the reaper's head...

Let's get back to reality, though. From the public statements of witnesses and the descriptions of the videos we can only conclude Loughner was not the shooter, that he was standing in the back of the line where he'd been sent when Giffords was capped in the head. This thread is replete with examples of these statements, and there are many more that haven't been included yet.

This has got to be one of the dumbest women on Earth. What is this crap about "the kind of nation Christina thought we can be". Did this 9 year old little girl have any clue what goes on in the government? Was this kid some kind of political genius or something? Had she even had a civics class at age 9 when she'd already been elected to her pretend government in the school? Wow, they must be reading me, they're starting to say the same things about themselves that I've said:

Looks like the 9th circus is in disarray because of Roll's death:

"The mass shooting in Tucson is being blamed in part for a judicial emergency declared Tuesday in the Bay Area.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco made an official declaration. Arizona is one of nine western states in the 9th Circuit's jurisdiction.

The court said the rare emergency was needed because of a heavy caseload, judicial vacancies and the death of Chief U.S. District Judge John Roll."

"Now courts can extend the U.S. Speedy Trial Act deadlines for bringing criminal defendants to trial, which extends the time line from 70 to 180 days.

Bay City News reported that the federal district of Arizona has the third-highest criminal caseload in the nation, primarily driven by illegal immigration and drug smuggling across the U.S.-Mexico border. Most of those cases were handled in the court's Tucson division. The death of Roll leaves only three judges who each have a docket of 1,200 cases.

Judge Roll had worked with Giffords in urging Congress to authorize more judges prior to his death. He had also started the steps to set the emergency declaration in motion."

Roll was pushing to get more judges in the Arizona district, federal judges are appointed by the President if I'm not too much mistaken. Now Arizona is even more understaffed in terms of federal judges, leading to protracted trial deadlines. Will Roll's death result in more federal judges or will he simply be replaced and no more?

Is Arizona just being punished for not strictly enforcing and attempting to strike down "Brady Law"? Brady, not Reagan, was the one shot by Hinkley, another "lone nut", one who happened to have strong ties to the Bush family and has never spent a day in prison.

More evidence Loughner was prepped to be a patsy:

"Accused Tucson gunman Jared Lee Loughner researched the effects of lethal injection before he launched his attempted assassination - evidence prosecutors hope will show he isn't crazy.

According to the Washington Post, feds looking at Loughner's computer saw that he had pulled up websites about lethal injection and solitary confinement."

The media is already setting the scene for a lethal injection. Apparently we're to believe he not only planned this shooting, it out, but also anticipated being captured, not killed, and both being in solitary confinement and getting a lethal injection.

This is falling right in line with my very early prediction that Loughner would wind up getting a lethal injection. This exact sentiment was expressed by Joe Zamudio on the evening of the shooting. He said he didn't want to hear anything from Loughner until he got his lethal injection.

It's clear the federal courts are already trying to check mate any defense against a lethal injection:

"If he's found to be incompetent they'll send him away for four months to a federal facility until he can get competent." - Jacques Billeaud, AP Repeater

So even if we assume "insanity" was his defense, even if we assume the court accepts the hypothetical "insanity plea", the cure for that plea is "four months" in a "federal facility" then they can try and sentence him to a lethal injection. I'm so glad we have these heroes protecting us!

This is a disturbing emerging trend, the media seems to be pushing the idea anyone researching political assassinations, solitary confinement and lethal injections could "snap" some day and decide to become a political assassin. Better not research too closely, maybe reading about it can make you crazy. Wooo-ooo-ooo!
