Yankton Sees Bird Kill-Off

I live 30 miles west of Yankton and am not suprised it happened here. I went to Sioux City over the weekend and on the way home saw a group of robins. My heart just sunk, for I knew it was to cold for them and they were not going to make it.

Something is convincing their migrating clocks to go off early. There are to many birds that are in this area that should not be until April. All I can say is, my Spirit goes out to them and feels there sadness and confusion. heartbreak

Looks like someone's never heard of sensationalism, even if some of these more recent stories are true.

And sure, buddy, go on believing that animals dying heralds the 'end of the world' when, as I posted in the previous page, this has happened several times before, with incidents of a far greater magnitude occuring before all of this.

Fucking delusional, I swear.

Re: More Bird Deaths Yankton Sees Bird Kill-Off
On the 5th of January, I posted a thread about this:

"Something REALLY WEIRD happened just now!

Okay so today/this morning has just been weird in general - I was extremely sick when I woke up and have had a bad feeling all morning. Been hearing some extremely weird sounds the past few days. Like strange vibrations or humming in the air, ringing sounds in my ears. Loud booms that sounds like massive dinosaur feet stomping on the ground. Airplanes flying over my house all morning long spraying shit. And I mean dozens of airplanes. I don't live by an airport or AFB either.

And it didn't help that I was on GLP reading about all the craziness that's been happening with the birds and animals.

Then my cat started acting weird. She kept coming up to me and trying to get my attention. But then I heard this really strange vibration again, and weird booming sounds... So I went to the bathroom window and opened it.

There were a bunch of birds, an entire flock of them, in the trees and they were all squawking... Which was weird. Then I heard a cat freaking out like it was being attacked by something so I thought maybe it was getting into a fight with another animal.

So I went outside to go stop whatever it was and my dog started barking, and I just had this really bad feeling like I should get inside. THEN I heard this REALLY weird animal sound from far off in the distance. I can't even describe what it was. I have NO IDEA. It gave me goosebumps so I came back to the computer to finish posting on someone's thread and then I realized all the birds had suddenly become silent.

So I went BACK to the bathroom window and ALL of the birds were gone. But then another really strange sound blared in the distance and the house shook. I could hear some weird electrical sound happening in the house and when I looked the computer had turned off and my ceiling fan in the living room had turned itself on! [not in the original post, but my dishwashing had reset itself as well]

WHAT.
THE.
FUCK!?

Even now there is a strange ringing in my ears and my face is all flushed."

I've already stated that I live an hour and a half from Yankton. And I think the flock of birds that I saw that day were the same birds that are shown dead in the article.

Look ass-stain, calling some one delusional with your dumb ass point of view makes you a moron.

The USGS determines there are an average of 163 mass animal die-offs every year in North America. The first one happened on New Years Eve in BeBee Ar and today is only the 18th.

At the current rate of animal die-offs we would come close to doubling the yearly average. That doesn't sound strange to you dumbass?

Miners used to take canaries into mines and if the birds died, it may have been an indication the air in the mine shaft was bad. Animals are a vital reflection of the health of our environment. Animals dieing in mass could be a reflection of serious problems in our environment dipshit.

Your "nothing to see here" attitude sucks ass, and if you want rock hard close minded science, then go some where else fag-stick...this is GLP.

The world may not be ending, but wait to see why all these animals are dieing before you talk shit or put up those faggy BS flags.

Who knows, maybe some serious shit is happening...at least wait and see idiot.

I have noticed here in Franklin County Ohio that these Birds have been feeding on Earthworms. Earthworms don't resurface till spring warm weather moves in. I read somewhere, but have been unable to find this info again, that when Earthworms surface out of season it's a sign of problems with the Earths Magnetosphere. Something to do with Heliophysics that causes them to resurface early. It connects Magnetized Plume ejection and Earthworm early surfacing. Can someone find something on this? I've had no luck so far.

Here is something else to ponder:

I am an avid outdoorsman (note I DID NOT say scientist or brainiac), and I know that winter time is very hard on the animals that don't hibernate through it, and I think most will agree the winters have been getting harsher.

Now to my point, how is it that these birds aren't being consumed by the foxes, crows, coyotes, just to name a few predators that are active during the winter months and VERY HUNGRY.

Anyone that spends anytime outdoors knows that animals don't lay around to rot in the winter.....and birds are a delicacy to them.

Just something to think about!!!

Beyond one's own mind there is no dazzling light to come shining in from outside to wake one up. If one recognizes one's own intrinsic State as pure from the beginning and only temporarily obscured by impurities, and if one maintains the presence of this recognition without becoming distracted, then all the impurities dissolve. This is the essence of the Path-namkhai norbu.

Why is there a legend about the descent of Christ into hell? The Teacher addressed the lower strata of the astral world, saying: Why, by cherishing earthly thoughts, bind oneself eternally to Earth? And many revolted in spirit and rose higher.

Re: More Bird Deaths Yankton Sees Bird Kill-Off
However, scientists have been downplaying the events.

“Five billion birds die in the U.S. every year,” Melanie Driscoll, a biologist and director of bird conservation for the Gulf of Mexico and Mississippi Flyway for the National Audubon Society, told the New York Times recently.

That means 13.7 million birds die in the United States every day, the Times points out.

Nevertheless, the explanations of scientists don’t always ease the shock of seeing so many dead animals in one place.

I don't ever remember hearing about these types of mass animal deaths in the last 50 years...Day after day...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1211208

Melanie Driscoll is "director of bird conservation for Audubon’s Louisiana Coastal Initiative".

...and Obama has announced "The president’s budget for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers provides $35.6 million for Gulf Coast restoration, including $19 million for wetlands construction projects and $16.6 million for wetlands pre-construction studies. "

Sounds like her comments can be manipulated by government so she can ensure funding continues her way.

I live in southern PA and I haven't seen any robins yet. Now, I am not doubting you, but I am keeping a very careful eye out on when they do return.

In the past 10yrs since I have lived in this location, they return "religiously" during the 1st week of March. It also happens that I have calendars going back at least five years showing the first day I spot them (it's my way of knowing spring is around the corner).

That being said, I most certainly will come back and post THE VERY DAY I see one any earlier than that. Folks, if I see them prior to mid February, I will be thoroughly convinced we got a serious problem going on.
