Metal (iron-stainless-chrome-) Prices are going up!!!

I work in a sheet metal and custom machine company and the new prices for steel is going to put a huge dent in the profit and survivability of the whole economy as the prices will have to be absorbed by the customer.

MILWAUKEE -- Blame it on a better economy, but manufacturers are facing steep price increases for steel, copper and other raw materials.

Copper, a bellwether for manufacturing, last week hit an all-time high of $9,728 a ton on the London Metal Exchange.

Anyone recall the big buy hoarding in the UK by some big banks last month?? Well here is the outcome.

This is real scary stuff we now have a floating market just like the stock market.
