So taking a pic of the moon at a set time for a few years like taking a pic every august at 21:00 and comparing them would prove that field rotation and libration is the cause ?
Quoting: seaIf you took a picture on a specific date at a specific time in a specific location, a year later on the same date and time at the same location, the Moon would be at a different location and phase. It wouldn't do any good.
