for some of these retards it never was normal and it will never be normal. They have to know how to properly set a compass up to point north in the first place. You can rotate the bezel to have the arrow point at whatever degree your warped retarded ass wants it to point to. If you align the lubber line and the North or zero on your compass and adjust the vial of the compass or do the math for the DECLINATION in your area and box the needle, your north needle is pointing to Magnetic North and your lubber line and ZERO degree/North indicator is pointing true north
