What`s the deal with magnetic inclination? Forget about it. Even if OP didn`t aligned the compass right to known magnetic inclination, the sudden change in this fixed and UNMOVED device is not explainable... Why isn`t it clear? If u did NOT move the compass itself then what had moved? The earth? Inclination changed? Or the whole magnetic field? Maybe OP`s house drifting somewhere... LOL

Permanently stationed so it don't move.
I have the north on dial always aligned with neddle point north. Looked it at today at 19:00 noticed it off 6 Degrees due East. I am not seeing things. There is no way it could move from the way i have it stationed.

oh lord, people are so stupid. he just said that the compass is in the same location all the time, pointed to north, and its off six degrees, and you ask if it could be his posistion. My compass here in missouri moves around especially at night as well. Magnetic north is moving around alot these days.

I'm a novice compass owner... I only bought one when the last GLP thread about compasses being off came up. I sat mine on the ledge behind my couch and it has not moved from that location. I noted that North alligned up with a column in my dining room and it no longer appears to line up with that column. Not off by tons, 6 degrees seems to be about right.

Been feeling dizzy and nauseated too but that could be unrelated. Virus is going around.

im not sure what the definition is of what you called me (maladminstrator representative or something) but i like you cherish life and i cherish my mother earth. i dont like what we as humans have done and are doing to her, but, if whats going on is natural then so be it, all we can do is watch and report on what is going on. i believe in god, but to me it seems like this may be the earth just doing what it has, and now we are here to witness this.
