Can't believe some of the strange answers in this thread. I LOVE this milk! It tastes pure and almost sweet compared regular milk. I believe the reason for this is that this milk is ultra pasteurized. I do not know why some people think this is a bad thing but this is a good thing as it extends the shelf life of the milk to almost 60 days. Why? Because ultra pasteurization kills all bacteria! This is not rocket science people. Now it is my understanding, and I maybe wrong but ultra pasteurization cracks the sugar molecules in the milk turning them into you different form of sugar. If I remember my basic chemistrmy if you split sucrose, you will get two glucose molecules. And, thanks to the idiots at Monsanto with their damn milk hormone, all milk is labeled to tell you does not contain this hormone (rBST) because it's horrible. All raw milk contains something disgusting called somatic cells..... which is a nice word for pus. Yes pus! Drinking raw milk is extremely dangerous and no sane person would drink it. The government regulates the acceptable level of somatic cells in milk. They set the standard for what is considered safe send require all milk to be pasteurized. Finally, I'm not very concerned with milk from cows that eat GMO grain. The true reality is that cows are designed to eat grass, not grain. In effect, real, natural milk from grass fed cows has not existed in the US for 50 years. If you want real, pure organic milk, you better buy a farm and get a cow. Horizon Organic milk is by far the best tasting milk I've ever tasted, and I drink a lot of milk.
