A poem I wrote whilst high

The heavens reach down towards me
do I take the hand THAT beckons me to the cosmos?
Take the chance to see the universe for what it is,
a beautiful mystery?
As the aurora illuminate the heavens,
and as night falls over the Amazon, the wind
rustles the leaves and gently sways the grass.
They descend on the ancient temples
with torches in their hands,
ready to ignite a thousand candles to extinguish a
thousand lies.
