That was in a movie called "Rampage", crazy movie. Extreme left guy goes crazy and kills everyone he sees as he walks through his little town wearing homemade bulletproof armor.

I just saw the movie you mentioned, I think you missed the point. The kid was waging his own war of "population control" by mass murder, and he stole money from a bank, pretended to burn it, and set up an innocent paint ball buddy to take the fall for it all after shooting him in the head. How does that make him "extreme left"?

Oh, it doesn't just happen in movies. A lot of people are starting to see the police as the enemy (kind of the way they have seen us for the past 30 years or so). Here's what happened near Dallas last summer:

Um...yeah...the home video in that movie was made by the character who robbed the bank, the rampage was just a cover for robbing the bank, basically, despite his insane claims that he was helping the survivors by making more room for them. You are really confused, watch the movie again. The guy who robbed the bank was just a thug who framed his meek paintball buddy for mass murder.

My brother is a COP.. He calls himself a peace officer. Not all cops are like the image you have created. I promise man. There are bad cops and there are good ones. My bro believes in protecting those that need it and keeping the peace. Some cops believe they are powerful. MOST do not. Most see theyre doing a job no one wants to do.

Okay, I just came back from lunch where the local news was talking about it-

It particularly struck me when they showed the large black scary looking armored vehicle with a Homeland Security logo on it at the scene.

Also- the other surrounding problem with cops in my neck of FL- kinda hard to avoid annoyances when you aren't old, white, or rich, and your college is surrounded by a bad neighborhood. With black people who find it amusing (at least some of them) to ride bicycles late at night and rob students at gunpoint. In particular this year it's been pretty bad thanks to crap economy. Obviously YMMV.

Yeah, my brother was a cop, and he was a piece of shit before he became one and after. What's your point? If your brother caught an old lady selling crack to buy her medicine would he arrest her? He doesn't give a shit ultimately about anyone but himself and his immediate family and close friends, you can be sure of that. And saying that is even a stretch, I've never met a cop who gets along with everyone in his family, I've met jailors who incarcerated their own fathers.
