I'm self-employed, no insurance, make too much to get any assistance, make to little be able to afford buy it myself.
Anyone else rolling the dice?

Why don't you either confess to being a shill or educate yourself on what's available. Keyword "carrier of last resort" for your state... typically its a BCBS plan and then check out online the QHDHPs or the low cost guaranteed issue basic SpecialCare plans. In my state 130 per month. Whatever! It would be like $400 for my family and we don't have $400. We don't even have $200. We had $120 before and that was doable, but then our employer fucked us over and blamed the insurance company and Obama which I even think is illegal. Sounds like you're all for the mandatory insurance plan. I am not. I think all healthcare is fucking ridiculously overpriced. I go to Costa Rica if I need anything. They price it reasonably, it is not a huge for-profit empire like it is here and I want nothing to do with it. you can't afford a modest policy but can afford to go to costa rica? Yeah!
