Sorry---don't have any on hand as I didn't know I would be doing a science experiment this morning but the hard water should have INCREASED the boiling point--not lowered it so still doesn't explain WHY the water boiled at 70C I am planning to get some distilled water and try again just for giggles I understand but you are leaving important facts out of the equation such as: What time was the mail delivered, how full is the gas tank of your car, and what time did your alarm go off this morning? Tomorrow we will be testing the freezing point of cats...
