We have a Chuck E. Cheese not far from me. Its a decent one in a pretty calm area of our mid-size city area. I don't ever recall any issues at ours. The only problem I had is the place was noisy as hell with kids yelling and screaming in joy. I dreaded going there as an adult back when my kids were invited to a bday party there. I'd immediately grab a booth and get the all you can eat salad bar and all you can drink soda fountain for two hours and try to get into a trance-like state of calmness.
