Put your nose way down in the bowl or pot, inhale DEEPLY. If you gag, it's bad, if not, eat it.

Your body will tell you when stuff has gone bad.

It should be fine if you let it boil for a few minutes. Any nasties that have grown will be killed off.

Did you let it cool before putting it in the fridge or did you put it in while still hot? Was it covered?

Put it in an unlabeled container in the freezer like the rest of us.

personally I'd toss it, but there is no entertainment value in that.

If it's homemade and doesn't smell:
test-taste it first. We once kept homemade chicken soup for a week and a half, and up til the very last day, it did not spoil. But it also depends on your refrigerator as well.
