FEMA wants millions of MRE's, blankets, gas, water & bodybags for New Madrid Fault *UPDATE*

I am highly disturbed by the timeframe put on this request...which to me indicates foreknowledge of a "planned" event.

This could be all smoke and mirrors, let you think its for the New Madrid Fault Zone when in reality it could be for something much more devastating..like i said before ..its Yellowstone they are really worried about.
They send these requests out to vendors to feed 7 million people 2 meals a day, it depends on how many vendors they get supplying the foodstuffs, but they could get numerous companies supplying food..like 6 companies..supplying, each, enough for 7 million a day..that would be 42 million meals being supplied..
I wonder how many people would be effected if Yellowstone blew?..I bet its close to 42 million people.

about 10 million will die with in days from ash fall out. Then about 250 million will be without power, transportation and stuck indoors (except to get on the roof to clean off the ash) for a couple months. The remainder will slowly succumb to darkness, while ash may not fall in any large quantity, the skies over the USA will be very dark, imagine a very cloudy day at twilight.

Within less than a month the total affected will range between 5-6 billion as the ash cloud goes global. At the three month mark the whole population is being effected, the skies are dark, plants are dying...

How many people live within a 100 mile radius of Yellowstone?

I think they use "K" for 'thousand' in written documents like this. They use "M" for 'million.'

Whenever there is training for a disaster or an actual disaster and they open up the Emergency Operations Center, it is the goal of the EOC to locate resources that can be made available to the Incident Commanders in the field if they need them.

I could be wrong, but from what I have read on all of these posts about FEMA looking (not purchasing) for food, blankets, etc... it seems that they are only trying to identify sources and suppliers. This does not send up a red flag or any kind of flag with me. I think that they are just being prudent and are probably planning to have realistic resources available so they can train with. What I mean by that is instead of calling someone on a pretend phone line, they are trying to see what resources really are available in the real world.

I don't think their intention is sinister or conspiratorial. They are just doing routine Emergency Management stuff in accordance with modern practice.

Call me a shill if you'd like, and in this instance maybe I am. Time will tell.

They put out orders for this stuff regularly...go back 3 years and look and there will be almost an exact order. Supplies have shelve lives and they have to replenish them and basically each region is responsible for associated possible disasters in that region...in the Midwest a big one is New Madrid.
