OP/JW. I don't see riots being a problem in Houston ...or at least in a "Cause and Effect" scenario.

However, as Houston is the largest of the energy corridors, it is likely on the radar of those who would seek to disrupt the energy production/distribution for whatever gains.

The military wouldn't suffer because they are first in line for strategic reserves. Quotas be damned. The best way to keep an all voluntary military voluntary, is to create the economic conditions necessary, to have plenty of "volunteers" (See Reagan-omics)

The Oil industry wouldn't suffer because they benefit at the pump; ultimately. Business would be booming to fill the supply side of the supply and demand scenario. Some would lose jobs, while others would employment. Bishop takes Pawn, and the game continues.

The stock market would not suffer, in whole, because this scenario would be an opportunity to wash money, out of one economic environment and into another.

The Auto Industry would only suffer temporarily.

In other words, rioting would be an effect, not a cause.

For every occasional instance where you actually get "breaking news" a few minutes ahead of anywhere else there are dozens if not hundreds of deceptive, bullshit threads that you have to waste time filtering.

I hear shit like this all the time... where are these 2 million troops? Short of covert ops or co-intelpro, they are not dangerous to the masses without the numbers. I'm pretty sure someone would notice 2million foreigners in fatigues somewhere...

I have been to many bases around the country as a contractor, and with the exception of some Canadians in Space Warfare command in Colorado Springs, I have never encountered a foreign military officer. So where are they hiding? Some deep underground bunker? A hole?

I find it difficult to believe foreign troops would be lying in wait within the US borders to attack. The moral implications of this is staggering, and I just don't think its so. Plus, we have the most feared military in the world. We are the iron fist drenched in blood used to crush sovereign nations at will. Any foreign agent on our soil would have to expect it is a suicide mission. So now you are talking about 2 million suicide soldiers in a secret bunker that nobody has ever seen... it just seems impractical, implausible, and unrealistic.. to me anyways... and I sincerely hope you are wrong...

You may even say they expect to work side by side with our military, but the minute the descend upon the family of 1 of our service men in their own country, the country our guys are deluded in to believing they are defending / protecting, I do not think they are going to run rampant across the continent.
