Lots of protests have been infiltrated lately by undercover agent provacateurs trying to justify a heavy police response and provide theater for public consumption on the nightly snooze channels.

Inow, if there is going to be a riot, it's likely the police will start it first to keep one step ahead of developments and to frame the story.

How about we think about this for a moment. What is different between the US and the areas around the middle east where the rioting is going on?

The leaders of these countries have been in power for decades. It's not like here where we change them every now and then (even though the new one may not be that different from the old one when we do change them).

That's only one of the differences.

Our government has many layers, and checks and balances, not one guy who stays in power forever.

Now, it would take something really drastic to cause the same civil unrest here as is happening in the middle east. Not saying it couldn't happen, just saying it is very unlikely.

But then again, the legislatures of 10 of our 50 states have bills on their agendas to require documentation and real proof of eligibility to be on the presidential election ballot in those states come 2012. So it's likely that Obama could one term president. Who knows? Maybe they will pull a little Chicago politics and he just won't leave if he's supposed to. Then there could be major riots.
