there is so much of it that is in opposition to God's word, that any portion that is in alignment loses credibility.
i do not want this gnostic text to hijack the topic of this thread.

Yet you don't have one example of why you despise the Apocryphon of John? ? i am not willing to let the apocryphon of John to take change the focus of my thread. my analysis of the NT apocryphals is a LONG and DETAILED story, that cannot be summed up here for you in a few sentences. none of the NT apocryphals are credible, IMO. it took me many years of study to realize this. I cannot sum up many years of study for you now.
