The letter Hey is the fifth letter of the Aleph-Bet, having the numeric value of five. The pictograph for Hey looks like a man with his arms raised, whereas the classical Hebrew script (ketav Ashurit) is constructed of two Vavs (of the Dalet) with an unattached and inverted Yod that functions as the “foot” of the letter. The meaning of the name “Hey” is “look,” or “behold!”

1. The Mystery of Hey
According to the Jewish mystics, Hey represents the divine breath, revelation, and light (the word “light” is mentioned five times on the first day of creation (Gen. 1:3-4), which is said to correspond to the letter Hey). Since the numerical value of Hey is five, this corresponds on a physical level to the five fingers, the five senses, and the five dimensions. On a spiritual level it corresponds to the five levels of soul:

* Nefesh - instincts
* Ruach - emotions
* Neshamah - mind
* Chayah - bridge to transcendence
* Yechidah - oneness


2. Hey represents God’s Creative Power
“By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth” (Psalm 33:6). In the Talmud (Menachot 29b) it is said that the “breath of His mouth” refers to the sound of the letter Hey - the outbreathing of Spirit.

using "hey" as a SUFFIX feminizes a word, but does not make it completely feminine.

What makes you believe the writings of Paul(saul)as complete truth? Was he an apostle or did he criticize? Paul wrote most of the new testament. Saul nor Luke ever walked with Christ, so what makes them so believable?

i disagree with any new testament apocryphal book that is in opposition to the word of God.... period.

the OT apocryphals were omitted from the cannon by Jewish leaders because of the prophecies of Jesus, and the specifics surrounding who Jesus was.

the NT apocryphals were omitted because they were in complete opposition to God's word and the authorship was not found credible.

Most bible scholars recognize Enoch and his writings because they are referenced throughout old and new testament.

i did not write this but it explains my view exactly:

While no actual proof exists that Paul wrote the letters attributed to him in the Bible, neither is there any proof that Shakespeare wrote his plays, nor is there any proof that Julius Caesar existed for that matter. One must look at the books, and through textual analysis come to conclusions as to what is most likely.

It is accepted that Paul wrote Romans, 1&2 Corinthians and Galatians, however, most of the other letters are regarded to have been written by Paul also by most Bible scholars.

Ephesians has caused some concern as its style is not quite the same as the other Pauline letters. However, the letter begins and ends with greetings from Paul to known Christian leaders in Ephesus, and, whilst there may be doubts over the bulk of the letter's authorship, it is almost certain that Paul wrote the beginning and the end.

Philppians, Colossians and the two letters to Thessaloniki are almost certainly written by Paul. They contain material that refers to Paul's missionary journeys and the problems that beset the Christian churches there. They contain personal greetings to known Christian leaders and are written in a Greek that is almost identical in style with the authenticated letters of Romans, Corinthians and Galatians.

The personal letters to Timothy, Titus and Philemon again are in a similar style and refer to events and to people (e.g. Paul leaving Titus in Crete) which were specific to Paul. Therefore, the evidence points to these letters also being written by him. In Philemon, as an example, Paul even adds a remark in his own hand rather than use a scribe as he would have done for his previous letters.

The exception to the letters in the New Testament is the letter to the Hebrews. Some Bible scholars attribute this to Paul also, as it contains great teaching especially in Chapter 11 teaching on faith that is totally in accord with Paul's other writings. However, many scholars feel that the style of the Greek used is simply not that of Paul. If Paul did not write this letter, then the author is unknown - which is, on the balance of the evidence, the most likely conclusion.

As for the other letters and books, it is generally believed that Peter, James, John and Jude wrote the letters attributed to them, and the Revelation of John was attributed to John whilst he was in exile on Patmos. The gospels are generally believed to have been written by their authors with the exception of Matthew and Luke who, as well as using their own material, used a large part of Mark's gospel and another source, now lost, called 'Q'. The Acts of the Apostles is generally believed to have been written by Luke as it begins with reference to Luke's gospel and is addressed to the same recipient, and is in an identical style to that of the Gospel of Luke.

The whole quote is pretty much mainline thinking, though I think most academic scholars think that the author of Hebrews is unknown and perhaps unknowable.

There are at least a dozen tool available to scholars for deciding such things. Books like "Handbook New Testament Exegesis" by Craig Blomberg or "New Testament Exegesis: A Handbook for Students and Pastors" by Gordon Fee are a good place to start.
