I am about to be a father. How do I avoid my child from having to take vaccines. This is serious. Please help

OP, both of my kids were born in california. I refused all vaccines and signed waivers for schools. You have to show you know your rights and stand firm and there won't be any problems. Both of my kids today are teens and perfectly healthy. They never had to take antibiotics either and never had any issues except a few quick flus that lasted at most a day.

Had an older retired doc tell us that doctors today are very stubborn and unreasonable because of medical school. They have been trained this way and they have a lot of trouble thinking outside the box.

You know, you are going to get alot of support from the people who frequent this forum in your stance to refuse vaccinations. I also understand your wanting to protect your children from what you fear might be either unwanted risks, or that something subversive is actually being done.

I am all for fighting the system, seeking truth, and underanding the big control scheme we live under. However, I have to say that when it comes to vaccines, you should get them. The health risk of NOT getting vacccines far outweighs the chance that a negative side effect will occur, assuming that is your fear. If instead, it is a fear that something subversive is being done under the cover of vaccines, I'm afraid that is paranoia, and you shouldn't put your child at risk due to your paranoia.

Bottom line, there is a better chance that your child we become ill or die due to not getting vaccines, than there is something bad will happen if they do. Are you really ready to live with that? Are you that sure of your facts?

You don't have to be a member of any religion to use the religion exemption.

And it is not against the Jehovah's Witness religion to vaccinate their children. It is up to the individual just like other religions. You must be thinking of Christian Scientist who don't do anything medical.

You can't if you want to send them to public school. In fact, some colleges require it. The military requires it. It's pretty much impossible.

having said that, I have 7 kids and 15 grand kids all of whom have been vaccinated with no problems. BUT ... I understand your chagrin.

They can go to public school. He just needs to sign a religious exemption and they can go.

And by the time the child is ready to go to college or the military they can make up their own mind as to what to do.

At least he can wait a few years before vaccinating if he wants to. It is just not a good thing to shoot up a newborn with mercury and aluminum etc.

I also am one who did not like to get my children vaacinated but had no choice. It was either that or home schooling with no option for daycare.

Thank God they do not require the flu vaacination because my son had an allergic reaction to the H1N1 mist. But of coarse the ER treated it as an allergic reaction and then told me that it was not a reaction.

Weirdest thing....I sat there during the reaction and watched his eyes turn green (almost a neon green). Then about 2 weeks later I found a shark DNA was used in that vaacination....and that shark had neon green eyes!!!!! NO JOKE....I am telling the truth!

OP...I understand how you feel, but it is forced. The flu is not and I will NEVER get it for my children or myself again...whether it is the regular flu vac or the H1N1

In addition OP, if you are are an expecting father, if at all possible make sure your wife breast feeds for at least the first year and avoid formula cause its synthetic garbage. This is very important to allow the newborn to develop a strong immune system,

OP with all of our children we told them no shots except for the vitamins. They got the vitamin K shot and there was one other but I don't remember which one now. Our kids are teenagers now and have not had any problems. My parents gave me one round of shots when I was born and then I never got any other ones. That was more than 40 years ago now. I attended public schools and have traveled all over the world and have never had a problem. When asked in the past about shots I just said too bad.

Our kids attend public schools and again we tell the school too bad, no shots for our kids.

There is no legal requirement yet to get the shots.

My first child had a severe reaction to her first dpt shot 26 yrs ago. The dr. suggested that any future children not get the vaccine, and of course she never got another. When we had to put them in school I had to get the hospital record with a written document from my dr. (we had moved out of state) and fill out an exemption form for my daughter, when my other kids were old enough I just had to fill out the exemption form and put refer to first child documentation. Never had any issues with them getting into college, I dont even think they asked for immunization records.

P.G. the best I can tell ya is what many posters have mentioned. Religious exemption is probably going to be your best bet. Follow that up with stating you or your wife are allergic to eggs. Eggs are used to grow some vaccines. But, if your child is born at a hospital you attend...they may take the low road and snoop into your medical records. HIPPA laws should protect against such, so if this happens...get in touch with your lawyer very quickly. As a matter of fact, you may want to call a few in the morning to see if they'd back you up on standing your ground with regards to not having your child vaccinated. Then go to the National Vaccine Information Center and print off every document that supports your right to your decision.

You're going to want to present a real solid and organized argument. Keeping the "lawyer card" in your back pocket will also make them a bit more likely to try to push it...if for no other reason than the very fact that you could potentially hit them where it hurts the most....in the pocket book.

Make them aware before the child is born and they can wisk him or her off out of your sight that your child *will not* be getting vaccinated. Some are given right after they are born. I wish you the very best. Present a solid and unified mind-set with your other half, and you guys should prevail.
