Being half Mexican let me say this: I don't respect immigrants that won't learn the language and have lived in the US for over 10 years. In the border towns and further into Texas you have people living here for 30 years who barely speak English. The fact that they are not making an effort to integrate into the American culture by learning the language tells me they shouldn't be here. Stay in Mexico if you don't want to adopt the language of the country you so badly want to be a citizen of.
