Dr Hawass did not realize that by filming the DNA procedure, geneticists would be able to analyse the filmed footage and thus see the results. Dr Hawass has said many times that he will not disclose the ethnicity of the mummies. Now we know why. It is because they all were Caucasian. More on the subject.
