Anonymous Coward User ID: 1250978 United States 01/31/2011 04:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I agree Obamacare is a joke that was set up to favor the health insurance and healthcare industries, along with of course lawyers and accountants. But our present heathcare situation in the U.S. must be overhauled and reformed. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1225440Obamacare was a total disaster. But the Republicans aren't going to come up with anything better. Probably not even anything at all. Bottom line? We're fucked. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1225440 United States 01/31/2011 04:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Get rid of private insurance companies which do nothing but drive up the costs of health care. Quoting: Unconstitutional Government 1058967We need 1 National Insurance Company. No one should profit from other people's misery. Get rid of the Federal Reserve and have our own National Bank that prints it's own money. Privatization of public infrastructure to outside interests is always wrong. Government is suppose to regulate. Not support monopolization. Just ask Argentina. The Chicago School of Law and it's minions have come home to roost. I agree. A LOT of privatization has failed miserably to achieve original goals. |

What does that even mean? The law wont fucking change without a scotus ruling regardless of what some dipshit on GLP says. WE GET IT ALREADY! Get over yourself... Actually this is the first time you have indicated you actually get it, its not about myself, its about the herp derping and the fact i was told i need to apologize for pointing out fucking reality. Who needs to apologize now? No, I sarcastically called for an apology because of your attribution of me as a "dipshit" because you assumed that I took the liberty to elaborate on the reporting of the comments made by the judge declaring it "Void;" when, in fact, that is what was said in the statement, as reported. You want to keep beating the dead horse and belabor the issues about how the entire matter will eventually come to a conclusion, one way or another, when anyone with a 7th grade education already does, or should, understand that. Sorry if I didn't jump right up and say, "Oh yes, wise one, you are absolutely right. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing insight with the rest of us poor, unworthy, and uneducated plebes..." I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. |

Forever the Student User ID: 1013311 United States 01/31/2011 04:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's the Hegelian dialectic, yet again. The fed loves to use the commerce clause as an excuse to flex it's muscle... but it is failure of them to exercise the commerce clause, that has created the problem in the first place.... by not allowing you to buy health insurance OUTSIDE your state... effectively creating small monopolies for the carriers within the state. If the fed would simply allow you to buy health insurance from another state... there would be much more competition... and the prices would necessarily drop! Instead, they use the "crisis" THEY created... to provide THEIR solution... and shove unconstitutional law down your throat... to expand their power. |

They need to pay THEIR OWN WAY, by buying an individual plan from an established insurer. This would not have been struck down by a judge, if Obama, Pelosi and Reid had not behaved like TYRANTS in the way the 2000 - page bill was written. individual plans suck and are very expensive. i know you don't care cause your employer covers you, but try to think of others for once. |

Ricfly52 User ID: 203277 United States 01/31/2011 05:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So what is the answer to people who are uninsurable or where insurance is just too expensive? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1178936Should they just be left out to die because they can't afford treatment? Or just go bankrupt each time they get sick or have an accident? Something really needs to be done. It is sickening that the US is the only country in the world that doesn't do anything to help the working poor and uninsurable. They have socialized medicine for welfare people, illegals and the old people but they screw the middle class. The only way for some people to get help is to just be so poor that everything is 'free'. And that sucks. Yeah but forced insurance is not the fucking answer unless you are a insurance company. I agree. Was just saying that something has to happen to help those who are uninsurable or who can't afford insurance. Other countries help their citizens who get sick or hurt. Why can't this one? Already do. It is against the law to turn anyone down from and emergency roon who is hurt or deathly sick. I was in there having a fucking heart attack six years ago, and people with coughs were getting more attention than I was, and I FUCKING had insurance. Don't tell me people don't get treated, because they do. Make a trip to your local emercency room sometime, and see for yourself. Fishing and skiing keeps me a little sane. |

New Age Messiah User ID: 1220952 United States 01/31/2011 06:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In ruling against President Obama‘s health care law, federal Judge Roger Vinson used Mr. Obama‘s own position from the 2008 campaign against him, arguing that there are other ways to tackle health care short of requiring every American to purchase insurance. “I note that in 2008, then-Senator Obama supported a health care reform proposal that did not include an individual mandate because he was at that time strongly opposed to the idea, stating that ‘if a mandate was the solution, we can try that to solve homelessness by mandating everybody to buy a house,’” Judge Vinson wrote in a footnote toward the end of the 78-page ruling Monday. Fuckface, i mean Obama, lied like the stupid piece of shit he is on the campaign trail and now some justice is being done about it. I gaurantee you the demons of hell are screeching even still over this and somehow Obama and his minions are trying to figure out, through any means necessary to squash this. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 475872 United States 01/31/2011 06:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Obamacare completely invalidates the Constitution... If Obamacare stands then you longer have ANY rights... If you can be forced to buy health insurance then you can be forced to buy life insurance... You can be forced to have an annual physical... You can be forced to do jumping jacks on your front lawn every morning... The final ruling on Obamacare will determine the future of this country. |
