I read these comments and always ask, why do people vote against their best interests? EVERYONE'S health should be treated EQUALLY... just like your house if you have a fire... or the cops coming to you in an emergency. anything less is disgusting in 2011. One persons life is NOT any more valuable than another... which I can't wait to see the replies to... And for the record... IF you can not afford to pay for your insurance, the general fund will cover you... and if you afford health care but are too cheap to throw in your $50 - $100 a month for it, then i suggest you cancel your car insurance, renter insurance and life insurance to... put all your burden on the rest of us. How about annual physicals? Everyone should get one... let's make it manditory! And people don't exercise enough... how about manditory jumping jacks every morning on your front lawn. We'll setup a hotline so your neighboors can narc you out if you don't do'em... And everyone knows you should wear a condom! Proof of purchase should be required! Staple it to your taxes boys and girls or pay hefty fines! |
