It's the DA's duty to show the law is NOT unconstitutional.

This had nothing to do with providing affordable health care, it had everything to do with providing a temporary cash flow for social security which has a $47 billion deficit right now. Benefits were intentionally delayed so the program could bring in a few more trillion and fund social security.

So what is the answer to people who are uninsurable or where insurance is just too expensive?

Should they just be left out to die because they can't afford treatment? Or just go bankrupt each time they get sick or have an accident?

Something really needs to be done. It is sickening that the US is the only country in the world that doesn't do anything to help the working poor and uninsurable.

They have socialized medicine for welfare people, illegals and the old people but they screw the middle class.

The only way for some people to get help is to just be so poor that everything is 'free'. And that sucks.

I think most States or even the Fed Gov takes care of children with problems and when they are born, it is adults here that this Country is talking about.

Yes, there are some adults also with problems, but again the health care system in most States will help out with that also, and cover it with insurance.

If you do not live in such a State, perhaps you can either check or change it.

Again, it is not necessarily the health care which is the problem here, it is the way it can be administrated.

Well, what are they going to do if they amputate a body part? Just sew it back on themselves? Or they break something? Just set it or let it heal in its broken state? There are some things good nutrition/vitamins just won't take care of. That is what insurance is for. But many today just can't afford it. And some insurance has such high deductibles it just doesn't pay to have it. So bankruptcy is most people's answer and they can only do that every 7 or so years if that. Whole lives can be ruined by one major accident.

Vitamin D will keep doctors away. Actually, you'd be surprised how much vitamin D deficiency is costing us in medical expense. Just that vitamin alone is supposed to cost us 4 trillions of dollar over the next 10 years. 4 fucking trillion dollars from widespread vitamin D deficiency! Imagine how much that would save us if we all correct vitamin D deficiency. It's so cheap, it costs me 20 dollars for the year.

Well, blame it on gov't for making insurance so expensive in the first place. Gov't is not the solution. Never is and never will be.

Wrong - any Federal Court (even Districts) may vacate a ruling by finding it unconstitutional. It may be appealed by the AG of the U.S. but at this time it is NULL and VOID - unless and until the Supreme Court rules otherwise.

The Supreme Court has the option to not accept the case - it is not a forgone conclusion it will be heard. I hope not.

Don't exist, and I know since I had a heart attack, and I thought the total sum of it all was outrageous to say the least, but then..............the State took care of it, for the most part. I thank them, but only up to a certain point.

Healthcare and health insurance is a big racket in America. We spend more on healthcare than anyone else in the advanced world. We get royally ripped off with drug prices that no one else in the world pays because their governments won't allow big pharmaceuticals to charge outrageous prices.

And on top of it all, our overall taxes are high. Whereas taxpayers in other countries actually get something for the taxes they pay, we get very little( unless of course if you're poor, then you get everything for free). Housing costs are high....healthcare costs are high....higher education costs are very high....taxes are high....wages are stagnant or declining....this shit is ridiculous.

But at least we have a gigantic military machine that polices the world and protects other nations who are perfectly capable of paying for their own defense. But why the fuck should they? The stupid Americans will protect them and spens their money to do it?!
