There are some great suggestions here on the page, and I hope my comments are read by the original poster.

Please do a google search on "infrared" light and "health" and/or "healing". If I told you all the good its been observed proven to do, you likely would not believe me.

Please do the research for yourself and see.

Consider this: All the OTHER suggestions given here rely on the body sending a small amount of something (cherry juice, alkaline water, whatever) AFTER DIGESTION, to the affected part of the body via the bloodstream. That's great, but it's also quite an 'indirect' approach. For example: cherry juice, applied ON the affected limb does nothing, you have to drink it, you body digests it, and a small residue hopefully makes it through your bloodstream to the gout-affected area.

I'm not knocking cherry juice or fresh cherries. Its one of the most potent and nutrient-rich things you can ingest. And some of the other suggestions here are great. By all means, try everything till something works.

But concentrated infrared light, that's another story entirely. It's one of the only things an ordinary consumer can buy today that actually penetrates down into body tissues and limbs to do its healing work in real-time.

The military is all over infrared for burn, wound, and broken bone healing - ever since the Iraq invasion. Western medicine is WAY behind on infrared generally.

A handheld infrared unit on Amazon will cost you between $100 and $250. Best investment ever!

The drugs your doc will give you might have bad side effects when I asked my doc about them I decided to take the pain rather than take them

Bump to that. First time Isaw the doc about it, he told me the medics in the middle ages used to treat it by hitting the affected part with a bible. Must have been a lot of medics back then with broken jaws.

Alkaline diet, lots of water and the good old cherry/cherry juice diet seem to work for me.

For the past month my feet and ankles have been really bothering me.
I had a crohns flare around the same time my feet started hurting.
I wonder if I have gout?

I have been taking turmeric and soaking them in apple cider vinegar. That seems to help.

I am not over weight and I exercise daily.
The pain is worse at night. I lay in bed and my feet hurt so bad it's difficult to fall asleep.

Edgar Cayce recommended this for serveral illnesses. It is supposed to help more than gout by adjusting the PH in your body.

You can get PH strips at the drug store to see what your acidic level is and continue checking to see if it goes down.

Look up apple cider vinegar as a cure for gout on the internet. Incredibly cheap, easy to obtain, and apparently works brilliantly.

I did this in conjunction with cranberry concentrate herbal capsules. Awesome! Got rid of my gout and I do this whenever I feel it start to flare up again.

Aleve for gout are you fucking serious? You have never had an acute attack, if you did, you would know that vicodin extra Strength is the only pain relief for that symptom.
