| a User ID: 1252418 02/01/2011 07:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | # 0029: BBC Middle East editor Jeremy Bowen, in Cairo, says: "I don't think the protesters are going to believe President Mubarak's promises at all. I think things have gone too far now - they want him out. Tonight and tomorrow, the opposition will be assessing their tactics. I expect there will be more marches. I think this coming Friday, after the noon prayer, will be another big focus as it was last week. I think Egypt is going deeper now into a period of danger and uncertainty, but we can be sure that this is a period of profound change right across the region." |

If you want to help the Egyptians than Do something to help the people. Don't rely on this Communistic Regime. My Government speaks for the FDR and TPTB but absolutely NOT for ME, The Human Race!! |

Quoting: Nikki_LaVeyIt's a sad fact of life that we support dictators that support us as apposed to those who don't. Riddle me this were the people of Iran better off under the Shaw or the Islamic state? Why do you keep denying that you support the above, the first sentence? That is the over riding concern, "that they support 'us'",, ie the geo political aims of Empire that you support. It is not the red herring of the dreaded Islamic govts versus dictatorships. Riddle me this,,, why do we pretend that the West is against Islamic States? So in other words you can't answer my question. Yes we do support some Islamic states that is in our best interest to support. All governments support their best intrests. Were the people of Iran better under the Shaw's dictatorship or the theocratic dictatorship? The revolution was co opted, and the people of Iran were betrayed. Dont forget the Ayatolla was supported and financed by France, flown in first class into Terhan. You seem to not be getting my line of argument, and are being naive, if you simply support a govt simply because it is yours. They may be corrupted and not represent your interests, It is why WE have revolutions.,... Nice Texas two step round the question. We still need to rebuild units and equipment to a better status. Quoting: Nikki_LaVeyI guarantee the scheduled drills are being pushed up earlier. never going to happen. An invasion is a desperate act. It wont happen as long there are actors on the ground who will act on 'their' interests. (notice I am very cautious when I use the words 'we', 'our' or 'us') Money talks. No invasion.. |

It is why I disagreed with unilateral invasions by the US on so called "humanitarian" grounds. The road to hell is paved with the best intentions (or I should say, BS propaganda for the sheeple). If Iraq wasnt invaded its people would now be overthrowing their dictator, and organizing a unity govt. But Now they are a defeated war torn divided vassal dictatorship under the ownership of a foreign invader.... Saddam was losing ground to Islamists in Iraq..even started to built mosques all over the place too cool things down. The same BS political line to protect the status quo: 'Save the dictators against the evil islamists.' The fact is the US and the West support backward fascistic islamic forces,,, as long as they are easy to control and buy off who gives a damn if their people live like dogs? Surely that is the same sentiment the West has when supporting the dictators.... It's a sad fact of life that we support dictators that support us as apposed to those who don't. | Anonymous Coward User ID: 1155273 02/01/2011 07:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I asked earlier but had to leave so don't know if there was any response. Do we know what the soldiers, particularly the multi-national forces stationed at Sharm el-Sheikh and El Gorah are doing during these protests. There are permanent US soldiers stationed there. Reason I ask is I saw some footage earlier around the tanks and the guy had on a little different pattern of camo and was wearing a blue armband. He seemed to be directing the soldiers. He kept his back to the camera. Anybody know who the peole are in blue armbands? Or what role soldiers from other country are taking. I did hear interviewees state there was interference from outside forces. I don't know if she meant actual FORCES, if you know what I mean. TIA |
