yep, i am in the U.S. Arizona and i just got a letter from suddenlink.com
telling me that they will "enhance my internet experience by now charging per GB" some .... decided my allowance is based on internet speed (im at less than 10mbps down) is 12GB... WTF? get your modems out people.. sad sad..

It has never been unlimited anyway. You americans and canadians really have RIDICULOUS net access (At ridiculous prices).

I pay ~$18 (Contract-free, otherwise $15) for completely unlimited Fiber to the base.

Just like ATM cards were to save banks check processing costs and handed out like candy. After the bait and switch, you are paying banks to access your money.

Drug dealer thug mentality. Canada in no way is suffering from bandwidth exhaustion. Canada was on of the first nations to create a optical fiber telecommunications infrastructure.

Canada has so much dark fiber, they don't know how to utilize it. Perhaps they could help out some American companies on Northern East / West capacity.

I have unlimited and have not received any notice that the company I deal with is going to change this

and bell has always charged for the amount you use thats why I dropped them as soon as I could, not only that thier service trully sucked..I like to speak to someone who knows English and understand the Canadian way,not someone across the ocean that can barely talk English and has no idea on a Canadian map where I live..

so for now I am happy with my internet provider and will stick with them as long as I can
