Oh, very much... the concept of 'the Christ,' however, seems to have been muddled quite a bit, and my own feeling is that the story (as it is) was mostly fabricated in order to hide a deeper, and yet simpler, truth... that, and to protect (perhaps) a seed that was yet in germination, in order that it not be killed too soon, so to speak... All things in their good time, at His good pleasure. That is what I know best.

I don't mean to press you, but would you mind sharing part of what you believe Christ to be? After having such good conversation with brother Edward I have become very curious as to what others believe regarding alternative theories on Christ.

I don't know if you have read these discourses between him and I but if you have than you may already have an understanding of the basics of my beliefs.

Would you be kind enough to share some of yours sister?

much love,

Well, briefly, then (as I may not have much time), the 'Christ' seems to mean the 'annointed' one, doesn't it? Jesus' name was not Jesus Christ, we know, but possibly Jesus the 'Christ,' or 'annointed.' Agreed possibly, so far, yes? But now, 'annointed' to do what? Those who are annointed have a special mission, typically,- 'annointed with the spirit to preach' being one quick example.

Now, Jesus was possibly 'Christed' to accomplish a special mission, but was it the whole mission...? To avoid pride, I would think that we would 'split it up,' so that no one man might glory in such a thing, but the glory yet go only to 'God,' whose plan it is to begin with. So, now there may have to be another 'Christ,'- another one 'annointed' to carry out the second half of the process, which some have likened to an alchemical process, which does not really beg the point, I think.

We cannot limit 'God' nor his plans nor his thoughts to one time or place or person... He is so much bigger than that, as is the world, as is heaven. We can have no idea, really, but the glimpses that we get are fairly mind-bending, don't you think?

I appreciate your willingness to share. I believe whole-heartedly that Christ is God who became man, thus pride was not an issue because a perfect God composed entirely of love would not be subject to pride. He still existed in Heaven when He was as well here on earth as the Messiah in that He has been segmented into a Trinity in order to provide room inside of existence for evil without being evil Himself, as everything exists within God.

I agree that God is mind-bending to the extent of imagining a pure and perfect infinite and immortal being so far above any other form of life that is is simply impossible to fully wrap your mind around. To contemplate infinity and perfection is truly something worth thinking about.

I believe that the man known in English as Jesus, the Messiah, the Christ, embodied that perfection and infinity yet in the vessel of a man, which is mind bending as well but the thought of it only fills me with love.

To me that's what it is all about, that's what God is, and that is how we should all relate to each other.

much love to you sister,
