Here we go!! Arizona to secede (without OFFICIALLY doing so)!!!!

Arizona gets $1.19 from the Federal Govt for every $1.00 its citizens pay in federal income tax.
So they could lose that .19 cents difference if the Feds decide to withold it.
Feds have threatened and cut money to states over seatbelt and drunk driving laws and the states ALL folded.
Even Texas balanced their budget on Federal Stimulus Funds last year.

Arizona has caved before, they will again.

I suppose that's what would happen if they seceded. No use for those Fed offices.

Niki doesn't sound like she wants independence...she wants states to suck up the federal aid and remain dependent. It would be wonderful if states didn't allow their socialist government to make them succomb to dependence on federal aid.

People who work pay taxes...people who don't work get paid from those taxes. Simple. Cut off federal aid and people WILL go back to work, or they'll move somewhere where they can get it...like California, where I live!

9th Amendment gives the States the right to reserve any right for itself it wants - including nullifying federal statutes that are inherently unconstitutional

Most of the toughest talking states are quietly living off the federal government's teet.
Arizona is a welfare state, getting more than it gives.
Same with Mississippi Alaska Louisiana West Virginia Alabama Virginia etc etc


If ANYONE has a reason to secede, it is the states that give more to the federal government than they get.
New Jersey Nevada Connecticut New Hampshire ILLINOIS Delaware CALIFORNIA NEW YORK

Why should New Jersey have to give money to Alaska year after year?
Why should Connecticut have to subsidize the people of Mississippi?

That's actually how it is supposed to by anyway. Where do ya think the Federal Gov. gets much of their money?...the people of the states.
