On one of the english arabic tv coverage of Egypt, ran a banner that there are 3 guns for every one person in Yemen. Also reports of clashes with guns. This Middle East is a lightening rod and spreading rapidly

The term "to be caught up" is from greek "harpazo" or latin "rapturo". Some argue that the proper translation should be "to depart"

I think it's a preparation for war with Israel. Some coalition will be made and plan an attack on Israel. Perhaps Israel is forced to preempt attack first. This is the Psalm 83 war. Then comes the bigger Gog & Magog war with players like Iran and Russia. This is later in the tribulation when finally God will show himself powerful before Israel and before the gentile nations.

Not to be a dick, but the rapture is one of the great lies. It's what will make people "fall away." They've been promised this "rapture" as though they're entitled not to have to live through the trib.

20,000 people is less than show up at football games in America.... so, thats like saying
"Hey, there's a football game in America, the whole damn country is playing ball!"

However, despite that, this garbage in all these countries around there is not normal.
Someone, a group that has strategically placed itself in each of these protesting countries is igniting these places one by one.

I do not know who and certainly don't know enough of about the countries in question to do anything beyond speculate.

Therefore, my speculation is this:

A group of extremely well financed radicals has infiltrated the poor of the country. Following orders from some "behind the scenes power" like a bank cabal or religous fanatic group they have systematically blamed the governments for the problems the people are facing. They have used common scape goats like America and Israel to unite the people against a common foe and focused their anger on their own governments who are viewed to be sympathizers.
When these people throw down there governments in chaose, a new leadership will be prepared and waiting in the wings that will then have control of a group of countries, to which they will use to do as they please.
They will do things like corner the oil markets, cut support for Israel (since that always seems to be a need for some reason, go figure), send troops to increase forms of terrorism common to the area in places like North Africa.

Sometime in the near future, probably early 2012, they will have had time to solidify their rule and arm up and they will attempt to undo what was done in 1948 and that is they will attack Israel to try to kick them out of the land.

These revolts are not about freedom. It's actually quite the opposite. These are revolutions to take over countries by the radical muslims that want to control the whole world. There will be no freedom in the muslim empire that springs forth from these revolts. They are trying really hard to make these look like popular revolts by the people that want democracy, but that is not part of the plan. Muslim theocracies are among the most repressive governments in the world. Freedom is the least likely result of these revolts. This will be an anti-Israel, and anti-America empire. The muslim brotherhood has been working toward this since the fall of the ottoman empire.
