Stocking Food= you will be a major target of the Zombies

not if people dont know.. what you think we all go out and pass out flyers saying we have stocked food? 3 people know I have stocked food.. 2 of them live with me.. The other has his own stocked food. If you have dont be stupid and tell people.. 1 they will think you are nuts. and 2 then no one will know.. easy as that

1 buy 50lbs of rice a week or 2 weeks.. no one has any idea what its for.. No one sees me unload it.

50lbs of Suger or flour is nothing to buy at walmart or Sams. Cover storie Baking

I keep track of everyones IP address that posts they stock food on forums. I pay some guy in India to track down their addresses. I have a whole database of food hoarders.

I will always have food.

Might sell this database someday...or maybe trade for some ammo. You give me ammo first then I give you database.

What are the best types of food to stockpile? If one was so inclined to do so that is.

Whatever you eat now, in forms that are likely to last.

If you hate rice and beans, and all you store is rice and beans, you'll probably be miserable. OTOH it might help keep you as thin as your neighbors...

Go to different stores, buy a little extra at a time. When you drive to another town, stop and buy some. Stock up around events -- Superbowl this Sun for example -- go buy a bunch of rice, canned tomatos, pasta, etc and chat up the cashier about the 40 hungry people who will be eating you out of house and home the entire day.

Solution: Don't put up a massive sign advertising your food stores.

When food run out for reg average joe that didnt prepare at all. They will form smaller armed roaming group and they will visit houses around 1 by 1. You may have last piece of meat you saved or 1 ton of rice either will get stolen and or you get kill.

A stocked person has thought things through and has one real advantage, and that is the time to think things through rationally without hunger and desperation clouding your judgment.

Initially those with guns and no stored resources will fight amongst themselves first thinning out the crowds of the stupid significantly before they branch out.
