Freemasons believe in the doctrine of Lucifer... why?

Why don't you ask a FREEMASON??? OR, read the writings of Albert Pike: he tells a lot about what they believe and why (Pike was a high-level Mason).

That's what I do. I am asking Freemasons what the doctrine of Lucifer is and why they believe in it.

Lucifer doesn't exist, the doctrine is just the opposite of Christianity in a way, you save yourself rather than hoping someone will do it for you, you take responsibility for your actions and not blame negative impulses on the devil.

I don't know much about those entities, but I do know that most Freemasons are complete idiots. The majority of them don't know shit about occultism, they just love the ego-power involved in being a part of one of these "elite" black magic clubs.

It like talking to a special ops agent in the military about the happenings of the NWO. He thinks he's "in on it", but he's really just a dumb pawn.

They believe Lucifer was misunderstood and is actually the liberator of man who was imprisoned on planet earth by god with no technology. This relates to the storey of Adam and Eve where Eve was offered an apple by that old snake (Lucifer) that was forbidden by God because it gave knowledge to man and therefore technology. This is what the Apple Logo represents and Macs with a chunk missing. They believe God was unforgiving and created man for his pleasure and Lucifer was the good guy who turned against this cruel God. I don't believe this it's just what I have read.

The former poster here is greatly mistaken in several respects.
1. Lucifer DOES exist as a very real spiritual entity.
2. The "doctrine" you describe is actually closer to what Jesus taught than anything correctly attributed to Lucifer.

The latter poster elaborates on the rather Christian themes introduced in the former post, but also seems to wrongly attribute these themes to Lucifer.

Does this mean the real Protocols of the Elders of Lucifer were written in German?
The Illuminati were founded in Bavaria, and Albert Pike also wrote about the "Agentur" of the Illuminati.
