I haven’t seen great backgrounders out yet detailing movement activity in Egypt and Tunisia, but there have been some signs of foresight and preparation. In Cairo, for example, polished manuals have been passed from hand-to-hand among protesters, serving as guidebooks for action:

Anonymous leaflets circulating in Cairo also provide practical and tactical advice for mass demonstrations, confronting riot police, and besieging and taking control of government offices.

Signed 'long live Egypt', the slickly produced 26-page document calls on demonstrators to begin with peaceful protests, carrying roses but no banners, and march on official buildings while persuading policemen and soldiers to join their ranks.

Well-produced twenty-six-page booklets—reflecting a lot of careful thought—do not exactly fit within the image of “spontaneous uprising.” As we continue to watch this story, I’ll be eager to see pro-democracy organizers who have been at it over the long haul get their due.

Very wise comment and one that should be headed by the Obama administration.

Looking at it from another angle… lets take a pretend Islamic country on the verge of democracy. Democracy has driven out Islam from national life. Islamic sovereignty has been replaced by the people’s sovereignty. If the people hold sovereignty, then almost all of Islamic law is useless. Then people say, “Don’t bring Islamic law into national life,” and, “Why must the state handle religion, it’s a private matter?’.

Secondly, democracy states that truth lies with the majority. Whatever the majority says is correct. In Islam truth comes from Allah. There is no question in Islam, everything comes from Allah.

There are 56 (give or take a few, depending on what day it is) Islamic countries. How many of them are total Democracies? How many of those Islamic countries, let the everyday muslim live his or her life? How many have Freedom of Religion? Open media? Respect womens rights?

If you answered none…….you would be correct. There are a few that pass as democratic Islamic regimes, but don’t let them fool you. Try to set up a Catholic church there and see how far you get. Try to remove your wifes hajib and watch the religious police come up to chat with you.

Have you used Google lately? When you do a Google search, as you type in the words, the most searched items will automatically appear in the drop down box. Type in the words “Judaism is” or “Christianity is” and all the various possibilities appear, i.e., “Christianity is B.S.,” “not a religion,” “a lie,” “false,” “a cult,” “wrong.” Type in the word Islam and as soon as you type the “s” in the word “is,” the entire box will disappear. Google offers search suggestions for future tense as well. Ask "Christianity will" and Google suggests “Christianity will end, it will disappear.” Ask the same about Islam and Google notes that "Islam will dominate the world," “take over the world,” “rule the world.” According to Google, it is a “bug” that will soon be corrected. Now that it has been over two weeks, I find it hard to believe that the computer geeks at Google cannot figure this out.

Fighting Islam is not about religion. It is about preserving our freedoms for our families future generations. Non-Muslims of all beliefs must unite against Islam. Most of us sit silently as Islam advances across the world.

There are the Islamic excuse makers that verbally attack those that do have the guts to speak out against this threat. Even Christians do this, as they are not willing to take a stand for their Christians brothers and sisters who are suffering under Islamic rule.

The Christian community has been much too quiet on this issue. Many are paralyzed by the politically correct disease.

The truth about Islam is that it is a religion of war, that it allows lying, and rape. It is the anti-thesis of Western Civilization, and it must be fought.

"As for gender equality, there is none. Women are considered property in Pakistan and virtually every Islamic country," he added.

"If I were to go to Pakistan and do what I do here in Canada, write articles and books that are critical of those governments, I would not survive more than 24 hours," Kanwar said.

Just last month, on May 28, Muslim suicide bombers stormed two Ahmadi Muslim mosques in Lahore, Pakistan and murdered about 100 worshippers. "That's extreme discrimination. The Pakistani government declared long ago that Ahmadiyya Muslims are not real Muslims, they are infidels and therefore deserve to be killed," said Kanwar. "And so, these ignorant fanatics listen to the semi-literate mullahs in the mosques and go out and murder the so-called infidels in suicide bombings with the hopes of going straight to heaven.

"The reality is," he added, "the ONLY countries where Muslims can really practise their religion freely and without coercion or discrimination is in the West. In Muslim countries, they force you to worship the way the state wants you to worship or you face being attacked. That's why Muslims are always killing Muslims. The Sunni kill Shiites and vice versa. They think anyone who doesn't believe exactly like they do is an infidel and deserves to die."

A sign of things to come, actually started with yesterday's proclamation of Egypt's VP, Omar Suleiman, that State cannot allows these protests to go on for much longer. As should have been expected, Israel chimes in with their part to play in the script.

Two things...

Firstly, if military training has left any mark on Mubarak, the attack will come at between 2AM and 3AM, most probably over the weekend. As a consequence, Islamists suddenly become the prominent power in Egypt, Jihad is declared, and Israel is finally shown for what it has been ever since it was sold to the world - a dead parrot.

Personally, I couldn't care less about what happens to Israel. They've been a major hindrance, and much worse, a great problem in any potential solution. I'd prefer if they were not there, but they are, and there's no arguing with reality.

They will stay there until the real enemy surfaces, and after that, among the billions of lives finding themselves in the same situation all over the world, several millions of Jews will represent nothing more than a statistical error. And don't even try to give me that crap about "God of Israel" protecting its people.

Secondly, Mubarak is quickly becoming a big problem for the other side as well. The only way to make further use of him is by organizing massive terrorist attacks... in one of which Mubarak himself will be killed... while police are busy with beating up civilians, and army is nowhere to be found... and all the chaos is then claimed by, and blamed on, Islamists... who suddenly become the prominent power... and you know the rest...

Mubarak is no longer holding the hill. Holding the ground, even if its high ground, implies that one still has some line of retreat. He doesn't. Not anymore. He is now surrounded from all sides, and he himself is being deadlocked in place. Whatever stunt he may now try to pull will be his own undoing.

Make of this whatever you will.

Either way, get ready for the consequences part.
