This thread sucks. Rap (I don't use the word hip hop) died back in 1999 so to see all these you tube links is sieckening.

I hate to say it because he was a great rapper but I think Tupac destroyed rap music. You got all these two bit gangsters coming out nowadays trying to be thugs. They all cover themselves in tattoos because they think it makes em look bad but it makes em look stupid. Being a gangster and being a thug are too different things. Gangsters are tuff so they dont' need to flaunt it. Thugs are little scronny bitches who need to act tuff to try and get respect through fear. It makes me sick.

I guarantee that I know as much about Rap music as anyone here but I refuse to post in the same thread that has Fat Joe in it. Gimme a freakin break. HIm and Big Pun are the worst two rappers of all time.
