Expensive for what reason? Taxes, tolls, Alimony, Housing and Car Insurance Corrupt politicians, Police, Courts, Lawyers and judges. Don't get divorced in this shit state as a man. Your dead mean and will have tens to hundreds if thousands in debt from lawyers. People are miserable condescending, rude and nosey. The Garbage pit of America and I cant wait to get the fuck out of this carcinogenic mutation of what the United States calls a State. Thanks |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 52535227 United States 10/22/2014 11:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, I have been saying this for years now? I live in a town in NJ that is only a bit better than Camden. Our town spent thousands on some rebuild project and so far we literally have 3 huge parking garages that are inconvenient to use and practically empty. The Main Street, which was already congested and had crap for parking was "modernized" cutting 4 lanes down to two and adding a bike path. Well no one fucking has a stupid bike around here, AND now the town literally takes 10 to 15 minutes to get thru regardless of the time of day. To add to the mess, they added these dumb islands on the sides of the blocks, which killed and already horrible parking area. In the meantime, Main Street shopping consists of a pizza place, dollar store, thrift shop, liquor store, and a hair braiding store. All the buildings look derelict and dirty. And all because they built shit no one uses, or made it even worse. That is typical POS New Jersey. That and the 5,000$ property tax for a shack in a barely surviving shit town. So yup, trying to save up and leave. |

KickAzCarlin User ID: 52911281 United States 10/22/2014 11:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yup our state sure does suck the big one. The outskirts of NYc liberal scum are to blame. It seems people around this area in Monmouth and ocean counties are all starting to wake up to the liberal agenda and the MASSIVELY amounts of taxes we have to pay just to survive. 15000$ a year in property taxes here in my town on a house that isn't worth over 275k. Something is fucked up. Every time people here about a gun crime in northern NJ people around here say LET US CARRY GUNS AGAIN. (Most the crime is intercity blackies killing eachother) People are waking up here, slowly but surely. 2 billion dollars in debt for a state is not sustainable and we are learning that the hard way. Last Edited by KickAzCarlin on 10/22/2014 11:35 PM Inside every cynical person, there is a disappointed idealist. No offense to 'New Jersians' but New Jersey smells like a dump truck. Quoting: A Voice In The Wilderness Every time I cross back over into PA, after being in NJ, I notice that the air quality is at least twice as good, fresh, and invigorating than that of NJ. It's like that no matter where you crossover. It's quite odd. Yes, I feel bad for the people in NJ. Dude u r full of shit. |

And I can't lie, she took pride in it and performed like a boss. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 62740825 But that whole experience pretty much sums up my greater thoughts on New Jersey. The best part I should probably include as well, I had taken two dumps that and never showered...... #JerseyGirls |

That's home. Our tap water comes from an aquifer that is a 1/2 mile upstream from a PCB Superfund site. OP is spot on. Corruption rampant. Rude, annoying people. Neighboring towns with more Indians than Bombay. Tried to sell and move out last year but only one offer, 60K low from Abdul. Property taxes just went up again. Going to sell when the market improves and head for a reasonable life. Good luck to anyone trying to escape NJ. I sympathize. |

Quoting: Dundas 1. NJ has miles and miles of NOTHING... Look up the Pine Barrens. 2. Yes, New Jersey Sucks Ass... 3. It DOES have a beach and the MOST LOOSE women on Earth. 4. In NJ you are not allowed to pump your own gas... (I am dead serious) It is assumed that if you are in the State of NJ you are severely retarded and therefore not intelligent enough to operate a gas pump. 5. I AM AN EXPERT as I lived 4 years in Doylestown, PA and went to NJ weekly to boogie board and pick up drunk chicks with big hair. 6. I REALLY AM AN EXPERT as I ALSO lived 4 years in Houston and 3 years in Ft. Worth. So as a Texas you should feel superior, but know that NJ has miles and miles of nothing JUST LIKE TEXAS. |

I flippin' love it here. Property taxes in my county are way cheaper than any of the counties on the PA side. I wouldn't live in the south again if you paid me. I wouldn't move back to California for anything. I've travelled all over this country, and I'd be perfectly happy spending the rest of my life in the northeast. |

And on the roads, tickets, tolls, tickets, tolls, tickets tickets tickets tolls. When I first moved to the NE from CA it was for work, my new job was in Manhattan. I lived for 2 years on 47th st in an apartment some coworkers and I rented out to be close to the action. After the city novelty died out, I changed to an illegal basement apartment on liberty ave. It was a total dump but for $900.00 month I had a covered parking space, a large studio and was 2 blocks from the train. While there, I saved a shitload of money to buy some land and a boat. My line of work made sure I was never home anyway. After about 4 more years, I had saved up enough and about that time the economy started its major decline. As a consequence, work came less often and I spent more time at home. My monthly expenses started to skyrocket, and combined with the murder and burglary going on in the hood, I made the choice to move to the woods. I drew a circle on the map with my work in the center and the radius being the farthest I thought I could reasonably drive in a work day. I picked the Poconos and found a cabin on a small plot in the deep woods and since it was so cheap, I paid it off in full with cash. Only payments I had left were my car, telecom, power and fuel. For a time this was heaven. My own trees, deer and birds, I could walk naked in my front yard and shoot in the back if I was so inclined. I spend a fortune commuting to work every day, but it was still less than half of what it costs to live in NYC. Life was good. Then the police declared war on anybody who drove on the highways. Every week a ticket for something, hundreds of dollars month were being stripped from my wallet by any township that I drove by. Even this I was willing to deal with. But then the unthinkable happened, one weekend I was driving into my village center and I had to jam on the breaks.. in the middle of the road was a large black man, no shirt, gold chains and a pit bull dog in tow. Never seen that within 50 miles of me before... bad sign. Eventually they took over the local trucker motel and ran girls out of it, roving patrols of blacks with loud music started driving down my remote country road (no pavement) then the neighborhood started having burglars stealing from cabins... this was a place where you could leave a laptop in your unlocked car, now I carried a gun to take my walks. |
