Yes....I do. :(

Not every single person of course, but you have idiots that let their baby drown in the tub while they play on Facebook and other incidences.....you would hope people knew better. It's sad.

LOL. Another symptom of how completely fucked up existence in the 21st century is...

If you're not told not to do something, it is assumed you don't know not to do it.

If it's got to a point where we need to release things like this to ensure babies safety then I think we're going the wrong way about things. We need to aid Darwinism, not prevent it with informative pamphlets.

I think the ignorance is deeper than we can even imagine. I'm beginning to believe the movie Idiocracy wasn't a comedy but a serious prophetic film.

In all fairness mate, 19 is pretty old to have a kid if going by the example London has set for me.

I can imagine 14 and 15 yr olds who go to 'State Schools' in England would need some telling.

My guardian angels or whatever looked after me...my whole life really, but I could have easily been a father that young...I graduated at 17 and my girlfriend, that later became my wife, turned up pregnant a few months after I was out of school...yet she was still in her senior year when he as born...She had to change schools because we went to a private catholic school...

Brief, maybe the way you were raised had something to do with it? It isn't uncommon for kids these days not to know better(about many things)...and I personally think you can thank the parents for that. Someone on another thread commented that lots of parents these days are not teaching manners and respect.

I could go on. I'll just say I think it all begins with the parents...

Oh honey you should read my lectures on the black community about this subject...They are by far the worst in fatherless and broken families, with discipline being a foreign concept because it interferes with selfish pleasures...

I fully acknowledge that I was raised properly...and born with a genetic advantage...but I swear I use my powers for good...well, mostly ;)

I share your disgust.

My previous comment wasn't excusing the sorry state of affairs we find ourselves in, I was only saying that in London, 19 makes you an 'older' first-time parent.

I'm 26 and when people I haven't seen for a while ask if I have kids and I respond in the negative, they can barely hide their looks of shock.

How dare I wait until I'm more mature personally and financially!!

I'd love to read them Brief.

My Jamaican friends have a saying: "Give her a baby". They use it when they meet a girl they want to tie down to them forever. Not in a marriage/loving sense but in a "make her mine forever" sort of way. I know for a fact that they never factor the baby into their decision making.
