Re: 6.5 PHILLIPPINES
But that's okay. When I first read about yet another Philippines deep earth quake I instantly knew it would trigger something, and then I saw your post a few minutes later.

I've been feeling/intuiting a "bowing" of the magnetic field a'coming for at least a week now. I just didn't know what would trigger it.
 Quoting: Psemeni

Yeah feels neat, huh? We're still not sure if the quakes are caused by changes in the magnetic field or vice versa but I believe that they're connected in certain cases.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1259808

Personally, I think we need to include changes in the core of the earth in a composite of causation.

Again, intuitively, I've felt the core of the earth...roiling, for at least a month now. Even for as in tune with the earth I've been for years and years I've never felt - been acutely aware of - anything like this before.

It's something else.

ohyeah
 Quoting: Psemeni

So here's something wild...

You mentioned bowing -- which made me instantly think of violin and music. What if the changes in the magnetic field case a 'strumming' effect (harmonics maybe?) and this strumming is what causes the earthquakes?

I'm not sure how this would work necessarily -- possibly all of that hot magma in tubes under the surface like a massive pipe organ or something... violin / organ. The earth is like a big instrument.

I do remember hearing something awhile back about how the moon rung like a bell... where did I see that?

Re: 6.5 PHILLIPPINES
Harmonic tremor describes a long-duration release of seismic energy, with distinct spectral (harmonic) lines that often precedes or accompanies volcanic eruptions. More generally, volcanic tremor, is a sustained signal that may or may not possess these harmonic spectral features.

Harmonic tremor is a sustained release of seismic and/or infrasonic energy typically associated with the underground movement or venting of magma and/or volcanic gases. Being a long-duration continuous signal from a temporally extended source, volcanic tremor contrasts distinctly with transient sources of seismic radiation, such as are typically associated with earthquake and explosion.

I dunno, I'm still trying to figure it out..

This is how the energy goes into the North Pole: [link to www.swpc.noaa.gov]

And the South Pole:
[link to www.swpc.noaa.gov]

It's a dipolar field so you can see here where it all lines up.. [link to media.texample.net]
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1259808

Yes, I know of the classic energy movement, like above.

Different visual I've gotten in the past, and today...it's too of a long story to explain how I got to this, but I saw the magnetic lines running poles to equator. North pole to equator, and south pole to equator...and running energy, just like the classic version above, but with different areas of the globe participating in the flow of energy.

I know it sounds, lol, very odd... tounge well, maybe one day I'll get it figured out. Harhar, probably right when it happens like I've described.

Thanks for the convo, lovey...hf

Bizarre how this will always happens on Muslim regions/ lands in my mother land, the Philippines.

I have family in the Philippines, all mostly Catholics, and they are in safe places, all catholic regions are safe.

to me this looks NOWHERE NEAR an active fault -- a new one growing?

:)

and 528km down is like a TWELFTH of the earth's radius, give or take.

There was a similar deep quake a few weeks ago in Argentina, they are almost exactly opposite each other if you take a line straight thru the earth. Download earthquake 3d (freeware) on options check hidden and centre the earthquake on the globe, you will see south america directly behind the quake area. Evidence of pole shift?

apparently there were 2 quakes 6.5 and 6.7 M

useful tool

I do remember a triple coronal mass ejection which seemed to correspond to some earthquakes a few weeks back.

This video is generated by earthquake 3d software, which is free.Just in case you were not aware:)
one feature that is really interesting is the hidden checkbox on the globe setting, you get a transparent view of the earth and it is possible to see patterns much better.
there is a pro version but I dont know what added features it gives
